Right now I have no idea. There were no reports about similar problem. Maybe your password contains some unusual characters. Another possible option: somebody changed your password before upgrade.

Unfortunately not, there are DTD files however. You can find them in the .BuildServer/config directory (project-config.dtd, common.dtd)

The only way to do this is to create separate build configuration which will start build with custom parameters by sending HTTP request to the server and configure scheduled triggering on this conf...

Please change checkout mode to "automatically on agent" (Version control settings step). You will get .svn folders in this case.

What version of TeamCity do you use? There was a bug with projects reordering which should be fixed in 4.0.2.
