TeamCity Notifier for Chrome doesn't work
Answered
Hello!
As far as I can see, Windows Tray Notifier for TeamCity has been replaced with a browser extension. I installed the Chrome one from here, but it doesn't work at all. I configured my TeamCity Server URL and when I log in to TeamCity page I see the extension getting enabled. However, i never get any notifications from it.
I'm on Google Chrome Version 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit) and Windows 10. I have enabled notifications for all builds in TeamCity settings (Notification Rules -> Browser Notifier). It worked fine with the same settings for desktop tray notifier.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Dawid,
Are you still facing this issue? If so could you please share:
-Which teamcity version you are using
-A screenshot of your notification rules
We will try to replicate it with the info you already provided plus this extra bits
Hi,
yes, I'm still having this issue.
TeamCity version we're using: TeamCity Professional 2020.1.3 (build 78866). My Notification settings in the screenshot below:
May I ask you to collect the teamcity-notifications.log from the logs folder on the server and forward it to us using the Submit a request button above?
Hi Denis,
I've just done that.
I don't understand why you would get rid of the Tray Notifier as it serves a great purpose, especially for smaller teams. We just want an indicator if any of our builds are broken.
The Browser Notifier only works if I have a Team City session open in the browser. I usually don't.
Please keep the Tray Notifier!
