Teamcity Plugin Compatibility

Dear Team,

As part of our migration from TeamCity 9.1.7 to 2019.x we would like to confirm if below plug-ins which we are using in the current version(9.1.7) would be compatible with version(2019.1).

What would be best way to confirm this? We went through the plug-in documentation but were unable to ascertain if they are compatible with 2019.1

1) Artifact Deployer-Set of Runners for basic deployment tasks

2) Artifactory - version 2.2.1

3) Atlassian Stash integration - version 0.1

4) Commit Status Publisher
Publish commit status to external system

5) RunAs
This plugin can start build on the agent under some specific user account. Requires TeamCity 6.5.3 and higher.

6) Sonar runner - version 31
Allows confguring and running SonarQube analysis in the TeamCity server

7) TeamCity Crowd Plugin-version:0.2.1

8) VCS Update - version 1.0

Hi Bharath,

Here's what we can share from our side:

-Commit Status Publisher was integrated into the main product as a bundled plugin. Now you don't need it externally and should probably remove the external version. While TeamCity should ignore the older version anyway, it's safer to just remove it.

-RunAs has been improved consistently, so I'd recommend making sure you are up to date on the plugin version as well.

-Sonar runner is also improved consistently, so you might want to ensure you are using the latest version.

Now those which I'm not sure what you mean:

-We bundled a long time ago a "deployer" plugin with ssh and ftp deploy capabilities. If this is the one you mean, it is still bundled and you should have the functionality out of the box.

-Atlassian Stash integration I'm also not sure about which plugin you refer. We do have several integrations with Atlassian products, mostly bitbucket and Jira, and have support for a number of functionalities on this, so you might want to check. If your functionality is not covered, this is probably an external plugin.

For all others, and the previous two if they aren't the ones we provide on our own, they are third party plugins, so you will need to check with their developers and get updated versions of them. As far as I know, Artifactory is constantly updated as well, but I cannot really talk about the rest, as I'm not familiar with "Crowd" or "VCS Update".

Hope this helps.
