Error when configure Versioned Settings with TFS
I'm trying to configure Versioned Settings using TFS server and I get this error when try to commit files:
Error while committing settings change 'TeamCity change in 'PROJECTNAME' project: Versioned settings configuration updated': Failed to add item $/PROJECTNAME/TeamCity/.teamcity: All specified files must reside in the same workspace. Workspace TC-CommitBuilder-6d2351475fe040aa9b0fcc015a5874e6 contains C:\TeamCity\temp\TC-TFS-5608574235026217026-Commit\.teamcity.
TeamCity version is 2018.2.4 (build 61678).
But it works just fine on the test instance of TeamCity server with the same TFS server, the same account for TFS, and the same TeamCity version.
I've checked all workspaces on the server. I found about 1700 workspaces but non of them are pointing to the 'C:\' or 'C:\TeamCity' or 'C:\TeamCity\temp' folder.
And only 'TC-CommitBuilder-6d2351475fe040aa9b0fcc015a5874e6' workspace points to 'C:\TeamCity\temp\TC-TFS-5608574235026217026-Commit' folder.

Hi Alexei, sorry for the delay. Is the issue still happening? I have been going through our database and have not found a single instance of this problem anywhere. Maybe recreating the VCS Root could help, but I'm unsure at the moment.
If the issue is still going on, please attempt it again, and when you get the error, collect the teamcity-server.log and teamcity-tfs.log and send them to us via the "Submit a request" button on top of the page.

The issue still exists. Newly created VCS Root doesn't help.
