Builds are not triggering on default branch checkin after 2018.2 update

Hi,

Our Teamcity server was working well until I updated it last friday to the 2018.2 version and now the builds are not triggering when we push changes to the default branch. The issue is affecting both git and subversion based projects. It seems to be something related with the triggering configuration, I did some changes and tests but unfortunately I couldn't solve the problem.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you so much,

Ibai.

Hi Ibai,

Do builds trigger on non-default branches? Are changes being shown as pending on the build configuration? Is it a VCS Trigger? If you run a build manually, does it run?

If everything is running normally but the trigger is still not happening, it's not impossible that a thread has been locked out of working properly. Restarting the server should help fix that, but if it happens again, please take some thread dumps and send them to us using the submit a request button above: https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/TCD18/Reporting+Issues#ReportingIssues-ServerThreadDump

Hi Denis,

I did not try configuring triggers for non default branches but manual builds were working fine.

Anyway, we have just installed the 2018.2.1 update and after server restart everything seems to be working as expected.

Thank you for your support and have happy new year!
