Setting up firewall rules between master and agents - one direction or both?
We have agents that our Teamcity master is in a different environment from. We need to have firewall rules put in place that allow traffic to flow between the master and the slaves. I know ports 80/443 and 9090 are mentioned in documentation. But does the master always initiate traffic with the agents, or do agents also initiate communication with the master. This affects what I ask for in the firewall rules. I either ask for just from master to slaves, or I ask for both from master to slaves and slaves to master.

This can be closed. I no longer have the need to work with the firewalls.
Hi Keith,
while I see you managed to clear the problem for yourself, I'd like to add a link to the documentation with the relevant information, in case you want to consider it but also for further people checking this post: https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/TCD10/Setting+up+and+Running+Additional+Build+Agents#SettingupandRunningAdditionalBuildAgents-Server-AgentDataTransfersAgent-ServerDataTransfers
