Our current teamcity version is 8.1.5. Is this 8.1.5 compatible with java 1.8
github stopped tls 1.1 support and we need to upgrade our java version will teamcity 8.1.5 work with java 1.8

As you can see in the documentation for version 8, Oracle Java 8 is supported for both agents and server: https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/TCD8/Supported+Platforms+and+Environments
But please keep in mind that TeamCity 8 has been out of support for some time already, so we cannot guarantee (as we haven't tested) that TeamCity will work with GitHub with such an old release, even if you use java 8.
