TeamCity overrides _notifications templates after restart/bug?

Hello,

 

I customized email templates in (...)\TeamCityData\config\_notifications\email. Some days later my server unexpectedly crashed and restarted. Email Templates (actually all notification templates) were reset to default. I tested my theory by restarting the server where teamcity runs and my notification templates were reset to default once again,

do you have some bugs there? If yes, please, let me know,

This should not happen. Didn't you modify .dist files?

yes,  ftl.dist and .ftl,

I've created an issue for this case: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-53483. As a workaround you can leave .dist file unmodified - actually modifying this file is not needed at all.
