After an installation with the windows installer exe, I only get a 404
from the server. The only thing I do different from the default
installation is that I change the port to 8111.
Any ideas?

Pablo

Hello Pablo,
I've tried install on clear XP on port 8111. It worked.
Did you recieve some messages from Installer while setup?
Did you have TC installer or some tomcat running on 8111 port?

Hello. When I tried the installer I had that problem, I now reverted to
using the tar.gz with tomcat included, and that worked, so there
definitely was a problem wiht the installer. There appeared a dialog
saying that a service could not be deleted, I dismissed it without writing
the exact message as I thought the installer was trying to clean up a
previous (non existent) service installation.
I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, had the same problem, then ditched
the f*** installer and went with the tar.gz...=) That worked. I'm happy.
I did the installation on a Windows 2003 Server with SP1 installed.
Regards,
Pablo
