Will this build have a limited time license as well? If so, could you guys make it long enough to last till a few weeks the estimated final release is? If it is a solid build that works for my team, we would just like to use it until the final version is released.
We plan to release EAP builds more often than previously (we'll try to do this weekly).
Each EAP build includes a 1-month license, so you'll be on the safe side till release build is out. For release, you'll be able to use 2-month evaluation license (which should be obtained from the main site). And only after that you'll have to buy commercial license.
Okay, that is good to know. We have a commercial license for TeamCity already, I don't suppose there is a way to use it for the EAPs? We have just found that we need to be using the newer features and bug fixes.

Hello,
You can use your current commercial license with EAP builds too.

I've upgraded to the latest 3776 but TeamCity is still showing that my licenses are going to expire in a day. Under the licenses it still shows:
TeamCity Evaluation License, expiration date: 2007-Mar-01
In addition to my other production licenses.
How do I get rid of this evaluation license?
Thanks.
-Brandon
- Edit: /system/license.keys e.g. /home/]]>/.BuildServer/system/license.keys
- Remove the "TEAM_SERVER" line that has the evaluation license key.
-Dave
thank you, that did the trick.
Hello Brandon,
When the evaluation will expire TeamCity will start to use commercial
licenses automatically.
