Pretested commit support for Eclipse and Perforce?
Hi,
I know there's a bug logged about better Perforce support for the Eclipse plugin - TW-3162, targetted for 4.0. Just curious if it is expected to support pretested commits in 4.0 (or if it already does in the EAP).
Thanks,
Tom

Any insight on this one?
Tom,
We are working on the feature and initial implementation is already there, you will be able to try it in the next EAP. However, this was not yet tested enough. I do hope we will have the resources to test and bugfix before the 4.0 release.
This is great news. Thanks!
Hi,
I have EAP 7888 and installed the plugin. At this point if I go to TeamCity -> View Remote Run and push the "Remote Run..." button I get this error immediately.
"No modifications found for remote run."
I do have files checked out and edited in Perforce (.java and .xml files). Should this be working in this EAP or will it be the next one?
Thanks,
Tom

No luck with EAP 7888
Tom,
Sorry, we did not include the Perforce support in the build 7888 yet. Hopefully, the next one (due next week) will have it already. We will certainly include a note on this into the EAP release notes.
Did the plugin updates make it into the final product?
Yes, it is available in the release.
Regards,
KIR
Fwiw - still no luck with the final build. Still getting, "No modifications found for remote run." I've emailed support.
But I'm curious - has anybody gotten Remote Runs with Eclipse and Perforce to work?
I now have remote run and pretested commit working with Perforce and Eclipse. A few bugs have been logged along the way.
