Commandline personal builds

Good morning,

We have a small group of non-conformists here who don't want to use Eclipse or any other 'standard' IDE (presumably on principle) but still would like to be able to use personal builds.  The question has arisen as to the likelihood of a commandline interface being written to be able to kick off personal builds from a developer's machine.

Is there anything like this on the backlog?  Do you think it at all feasible to roll this ourselves?
