Teamcity 5.0 (10307) Agent shows as out of date

I installed a fresh 10307 server and agent onto a Windows server 2003 with the windows installer, and the agent fails to register with this message in the agent status display:

• Version: 10307 (outdated, current version is unknown)

Looks like it can't read the current version or something? Any advice to fix this?
