Windows Tray Notifier - "Unable to Login"
I am currently evaluating TeamCity and am having issues with the Windows Tray Notifier application.
I have set up the TeamCity server no problem, and am building from a GitHub repository (works great). I can access the TeamCity site and log in via a web browser (IE and Chrome), but when I use the same URL (http://intwebapp01:8888) for the tray application, I see the "Connecting to TeamCity..." splash screen but then an error: "Unable to login" (please see attached screen grab for full details). I am not asked for login details at any time which seems strange.
I have tried this on 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7, that have IE 8 installed. My client machine is on a VPN-like network (DirectAccess with IPv6 tunelling), with the TeamCity server being on the remote network. Again, I can log into the website no problem, so it is not a basic connectivity issue.
Is there any logging I can turn on, or any further configuration (client or server) that I can try?
Thanks, Tim.

Does TeamCity server URL resolves to IPv4 address? Is that possible to access TeamCity server using IPv4?
Hi Eugene,
Thanks for the reply.
In answer to your question, no it is not possible to use an IPv4 address as remote hosts on a DirectAccess network are only accessible via their IPv6 address (and indirectly via their host name which is resolved to an IPv6 address).
There does not appear to be a general problem with this, as accessing the TeamCity website via a browser works fine with the underlying IPv6 tunneling stack. It is only the tray application that appears to have problems.
Thanks, Tim.

Could you please try set up some local proxy server with IPv4 address as workaround.
