which package to use to install teamcity

Hello There,

I am very new to Teamcity, I need to know which package to download. I read in Teamcity documents that I have the following choices. My main server will be on Windows and I will have build servers on Windows and Linux/aix.

would you please let me know which package I need to download? First or second.  My main server is windows 7, I am not sure if Tomcat is there or not, I have not installed one though.

  • Installing TeamCity via Windows installation package
  • Installing TeamCity bundled with Tomcat servlet container (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows)

    Windows installation package (exe-file) in the best option.
    It allows to configure essential parameters right from installer, and register and start Windows services automatically.
