Not using branches in 7.1

We use Perforce for revision control and don't use the new branch feature in 7.1.  However, Team City seems to have decided we are using a branch, possibly through misinterpretation of a portion of our P4 VCS Root:


Is there a way to stop it doing this, because our users are going to be confused by it.
