Long request/Request Processing time exceeded

I keep expericing some slowness on a build machine that we are running. I found we have been getting daily thread dumps during the slow ness which indiciate we had a long running request which exceeeds some processing time.

Not sure what these mean but they seem to be occuring around the same time we have trouble connecting to our build machine via HTTP, or VNC. Is there anyway to diagnose if  if teamcity is the cause of this slowness on the box?
