Idea plugin questions

1) What is the "Personal" tab for? It never seems to have anything in
it, even when I've done recent commits

I figured this one out - it's for "Remote Run" commits.

3) What is the checkbox "TeamCity->Server-side inspections" for? I have
enabled it and set up a Java colour scheme corresponding to it, but
nothing seems to change. And which build configuration/build number is
it supposed to refer to?

Hello Robert,

Do you have configured build type for Inspections? It should be named after
your project name. If so global inspections results will be available right
in editor. e.g dead code, the same return value, empty method etc

Personally, I'd rather the build type did not need to be named after the project. I'd rather have a fixed name , say "Global Inspection", or better yet, if there is a single inspection build, use it as the one associated with the Idea plugin, and otherwise allow an arbitrarily named one to be configured as the one.
