Configuring Jabber / GTalk
Is it possible to configure TeamCity to work with Google Talk? Is there any reference or documentation on this feature?
I haven't had much luck finding any.

Hi Joe,
This is possible:
- Specify Jabber (GTalk) server account on the "Server settings" page available from the "Administration" tab.
- Specify your Jabber(GTalk) address on My Settings page and setup configuration rules.

I couldn't get this to work using the gtalk server address: talk.google.com
The problem seems to be that gtalk wants to communicate over SSL/port 5223
Has anyone successfully gotten TeamCity to send messages via gtalk?
Larry, the settings that work for me are:
talk.google.com
5222
gmail_user
gmail_password
If they don't work for you, I suppose you may have some firewall problems/issues, either locally or company-wide.

strange.... I could've sworn I tries exactly those settings yesterday and couldn't connect. But today it works so... problem solved :) thanks for the quick feedback.
