External Database

Hi all,

For the moment I use internal database, and I was wondering if it's
really better to use external database.

What is database used for? storing compilation logs, tests results, VCS
status ? Everything?

I guess you've testing all database, what database is better or
recommanded, MySQL, SQLserver ?

What is the hardware configuration recommended for that, espacially the
amount of memory required ?

Hi,

I do think the choice of your database engine depends of the targeted operating system host.

For multiple reasons, such load and production QoS, an external engine is recommended as a TeamCity out-of-the-box embedded database replacement...
