Teamcity eclipse plugin remains infinitely on Updating TeamCityStatus

Hi,

In eclipse, I issue a remote run on the teamcity server. The build is OK and I receive the commit confirmation dialog. But if I click on Ok nothing happens. The eclipse teamcity plugin seems to be unable to update the team city status (see attachment). Any Idea ?

Hi Daniel,

I can't reproduce this. Can you reproduce with logging enabled.

How to log:

  1. Place attached files into your eclipse directory;
  2. Start eclipse with starter.bat (or use another scripts for log eclipse consoleLog into file);
  3. Reproduce bug;
  4. Exit eclipse on bug occured;
  5. Send log.

Hi Vladislav,

First of all it does not happen always. It happens almost everytime. But from time to time it does not happen. Here for reproducing it I had to do it twice.

When it happens, I noticed the following

1°) when I click yes on the commit confirmation dialog, the commit confirm dialog disapppears but the commit is not performed.
2°) If I close eclipse and I go to the windows task manager there is an additional eclipse process running
3°) I kill this additional eclipse process for being able to restart my eclipse and I log to teamcity using the teamcity plugin
4°) The commit confirmation dialog is shown for te previous commit.

In attachment you'll find the log file you requested.

Regards

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I don't see anything suspicious in log.
Could you please give me thread dump of eclipse, when bug occured?
(that page may be useful for getting thread dump)

Hi,

I have the same issue. When you do the commit after a remote run, the tab "Team City my changes" tab remains blank with a wait cursor.

i have attached 2 thread dump from Eclipse.

Hi Dejan

Your thread dumps very helpful. I will fix this bug.

What version of TeamCity you use (build number)?
