I think the following http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-7287 getting teamcity to automatically trigger history builds in order to work out which build broke a particular test . In our situation we have test suite which takes several hours we have the ability to run one test , but would like to run several history builds on that one test to work out which build broke or changed the behaviour of the test.

Yes, currently only per-checkin build triggering is somewhat close to the functionality, but I agree TW-7287 plus TW-18459 (ability to sort the builds by changes - to be able to analyze the results) would be a time saver if builds fail only sometimes.
