Teamcity 8.1.4 - tomcat version

Please excuse me if this is mentioned somewhere but i couldn't find an online document or anything mentioning what version of Tomcat that is bundled with the new version of Teamcity 8.1.4.    My security team in our company and flagged our server to have an outdated version of Tomcat and i must upgrade to a newer version of tomcat.   Currently We are runnning version 8.01 of teamcity on a windows 2k8 r2 machine.    While this server is still in a lab environment I am con concerned about upgrading.Thank you,Nathan

The next version of TeamCity (8.1.5) will use the latest Tomcat 7 version - see http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-37823

Thank you for the quick reply.    I will watch for this upgrade.    Is there a tentiive relase date for this patch so i can let my security team know?   Is upgrading tomcat seperatly a viable option or it is not recommended?

Hi,

We are planning to release 8.1.5 TeamCity version at the end of September. It is not recommended to upgrade Tomcat separately, because TeamCity was tested with bundled Tomcat version. If it is critical for please follow steps how to upgrade Tomcat in our doc.
