Disable GitHub issue tracker health check

Hi There,

Our on-premise Teamcity server is hosted on a machine that has limited access to the internet. When editing projects, the webpage seems to get stuck. From the server log, it shows that “Calculating server health item ‘addGitHubIssueTracker’” takes longer than expected.

Is it possible for me to completely disable this feature? Thanks!

Hi,

Do you have any connections configured in the Project Properties > Issue Trackers?
And do you have the GitHub connection configured (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/teamcity/2024.03/configuring-connections.html#GitHub)?
Please check both on the current project, and also parent projects levels.

Best regards,
Anton

Hi Anton,

Thank you for your prompt response! As far as I'm aware, there's no “Connections” or “Issue Trackers” configured in all these projects, though most of these projects uses VCS roots that are hosted on GitHub. Projects with VCS roots hosted on GitHub suffer from this problem.

Best regards,

Yuanhao

Hi Yuanhao,

Could you share the following for one such project where the issue is reproduced?
1. The screenshot of the created VCS root settings.
2. Go to Project Properties > VCS Roots and click Create VCS Root. There is no need to create a new VCS Root; just share the screenshot of the opened page.

You can upload the screenshots to https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and share the upload ID.

Best regards,
Anton
