i plan for upgrade to 2017.1 from 9.1.3, when i doing the backup saw the error as above message. 

how to solve the OutOfMemory error?

Also, please don't use the integrated database (HSQLDB) for production purposes. Please migrate to an external one: https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/TCD10/Migrating+to+an+External+Database
