Cleaning Artifacts

Hello,

We are using teamcity some time now and our disk is getting full, after some inspection we have seen that the artifact folder is over 30gb.
On every project we have the default cleanup settings :

Artifacts more than 10 days older than the last build; artifact patterns: +:**/*
Other items are kept forever
Do not prevent dependency artifacts cleanup

But when we look in to the folder of the artifacts (C:\ProgramData\JetBrains\TeamCity\system\artifacts\QicApp\Publish\)
We still see about 100 folders that are older that 10 days.
How do we let teamcity cleanup these folders ?

Thank u

Hi Pim,

There are several factors to take into account:
-You are saving artifacts 10 days older than the last build, not 10 days older than today. That is, if for some builds the last one happened a month ago, you would expect to see up to 40 days old artifacts.
-If some of the artifacts are on dependencies, they won't get cleaned up at all.

With this in mind, you can simply remove manually all artifacts you consider appropriate. The only issue would be that they won't be available for download, and if some build depends on them, those builds will fail because the artifact is not available.
