Linux Docker image how to install agent?

For some reason my docker image did not have a build agent installed after initial setup. I have read the docs regarding installing a build agent, but am unsure what "Unzip the downloaded file into the desired directory." means? Where is an okay place to put the files? I assume I put them in the correct location and then they should load when I load the teamcity web interface.
