Request for assistance with migrating ".BuildServer" directory to a new disk in TeamCity

Hi,

I am currently facing an issue with the size of the ".BuildServer" folder in my TeamCity installation. Since I am unable to expand the capacity of my current hard disk, I would like to mount a new disk and migrate the ".BuildServer" directory to it.

Could you please provide me with instructions on how to migrate the ".BuildServer" folder to a new disk? I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can offer in resolving this issue.

Can a simple symbolic link solve the problem?

Hello Yongyi!

.BuildServer, or Data Directory, may be moved freely - all you need to do is to update the location of the Data Directory on the TeamCity Server side so that it is aware of the new path. You may find out how the location of Data Directory is determined in this article.
