Teamcity Shutting Agents down with a build running

We have Cloud Profile configured for our on-premise server. 

The terminate conditions we have after attempting different configurations still shuts down agents with active builds on them

 

 

We would ideally have the agents shutdown after they have been idle (no new builds) for 45 minutes, but when I set the Idle time to 45, we still see the mid-build shutdown occurring.

 

 

I don't see anything in the logs but am happy to provide whatever is needed

Hello,

We have seen this issue happening before due to existing testing/staging instances of TeamCity based on the production one using the same cloud profile. If the server was not copied properly, it is possible that the other server detects newly started agent machines, but does not see they are running a build, and stops them after 45 minutes.

Could it be the case for you? If it is, please check if disabling the copy of the cloud profile solves the issue. 

If it is not the case, can you please share with us via our secure upload service :

  • A full build log, the teamcity-server.log, teamcity-clouds.log and the teamcity-agent.log covering the timeframe on which the error replicates;
  • A screenshot of your cloud profile configuration.
