Build agent hardware failure
I'm curious to know what negative consequences might occur when a build agent experiences a hardware failure and needs replaced. For example, I have a dedicated build agent that experiences a hardware failure and the system will not be brought back into service because it was old and not worth the repair cost. I intend to install a new one, but what would I loose in TC for not bringing the original back?

You shouldn't lose anything besides any cached data, which should normally be recoverable. If the agent is authorized in TeamCity you might need to unauthorize it to not occupy a license needlessly, but that's it.
