Performance monitor reporting unusual values

Hello,

I enabled the performance monitor on multiple of our build configurations and I am seeing unusual values for the Disk I/O (see screenshot). I am not sure how it ends up with a value greater than 100%. Could it get confused when hyperthreading is enabled? Or maybe I am not understanding the meaning of "% of CPU time spent on disk I/O".

Can you please share with us the perfmon.csv and build_stages.txt artifacts? You can find them in the internal artifacts under .teamcity/perfmon .

Hello!

Could you please also share with us your system specifications such as OS (type and if it is 32 or 64 bit) and whether you have some special storage setup (like RAID)? What is your TeamCity version?

Hello,

Here are the specs of the machine:

  • Windows Server 2019 64 bits standard
  • 32 physical cores (with hyper-threading)
  • Raid 0
  • TeamCity Professional 2021.2.2 (build 99660)
