TeamCity Restore via UI

Hi there

I am interested in how you go about doing a restore from a backup over the current configuration (i.e. restoring over the same server) using the GUI\Browser.

Is this possible?

I have been looking at the instructions at the link below but I cannot see the "TeamCity First Start page" and when administering an existing server I see no means to Restore from backup from anywhere within the UI. I suspect the "TeamCity First Start page" relates to installing a new server but I was thinking about how to restore a backup over the existing configuration.

Hello,

Indeed the first start page is only applicable for new TeamCity installations that you start for the first time and not to existing ones. In order to restore a backup in an existing server you should use maintainDB as recommended in the same article. We will pass this information to our technical writers to make it more clear in the mentioned article.
