Send Notifications Only for Incomplete Builds
Hi,
We have currently notifications sent to a developer when a build fails with his changes. However, we would like to have some specific groups also notified when a build is incomplete (nuget restore fails or the solution does not compile) regardless of whether they have done a change or not, but not send them a notification if the failure is due to a test. That we will keep sending only to the committing dev.
From the documentation, there is some mention that When Build Fails + Builds Only With My Changes end up sending emails for incomplete builds until the problems are fixed. But there seems to be no way to trigger just When Build Fails + Build is Incomplete.

Unfortunately it is not possible currently to send notifications for Incomplete builds. The reason is that TeamCity currently does not differentiate such builds so it's just not possible as is. However, we have created a feature request with this functionality that you can follow here.

Thank you for the answer, I'll definitely keep an eye on that ticket! Dev/Qa team leads keep asking for the compilation failures to be notified to a wider set of people than just the committing developer, so it will be nice to have it.
