JIRA integration updating ticket status

I have JIRA integrated in TeamCity. I can see the JIRA ticket linked to a VCS change in the Changes tab of a project. Now I would like to update the status of a ticket in JIRA when a build succeeds. I found this in one of the forum comments:

"Builds in TeamCity also appear in the Jira development panel and when builds complete the Jira ticket is transitioned to a new column."

So somehow this is possible to do. But I cannot find documentation on how to do this. Can someone point me in the right direction?
