Artifacts: Special character ("+") in artifact name generated by GitVersion.FullSemVer results in dead artifact link

So just defining an artifact path such as bin\Release\**\* => test+artifact.zip

will result in an error when clicking on the generated artifact with "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable". This is clearly due to the + symbol. Is there an easy work around to this?
