Parameter spec and custom meta data

Parameters are great, as you can customize the spec with meta data that Team City isn't aware of that can be used as configuration prameters that utilize team City's REST API.

The problem comes about when using the 'Edit...' spec button, which when saved, it totally obliterates everything, so you have an option to copy any manual modifications, make the change, then reapply, or, just modify the property after initial creation in the raw value, this isn't a problem for most types, it's more of a problem when your type is a list.

So, is there anyway we can have the concept of custom keyvalue pairs that Team City can leave alone when using the 'Edit...' button?
