Millions of files in the temp directory

Answered

Whenever I upgrade the TeamCity server it takes hours. The reason is because it deletes all the files in the teamcity\temp directory, and there are millions of them. Nowadays I manually delete the files from the temp directory before running the installer so the server isn't down for so long, but it still takes hours! Is this normal?

The directories in the temp directory are named as follows:
dslPluginsDocXXX
serverXXXdslPlugins
serverXXXKotlinDlsMavenRepo
TeamCityXXXjetRegistry
TeamCityXXXps
teamcity-thread-dumps-analyserXXX.tmp

Hello!

Could you please let me know if there are specific subfolders under /temp which accumulate garbage the most? There is a bug registered as https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-67943 which relates to the Kotlin DSL temporary data; if you happen to have file count/size per subfolder, this would come handy.
