How can I configure the default value of "Username Style" when creating new git vcs roots?

Currently when users create new vcs roots, the username style defaults to UserId, and I would like to change it to default to Author Email instead.
Since this option is hidden under "advanced settings" it is very unlikely that users will remember to set this correctly in our current setup.

Unfortunately, currently there is no option to change the default mapping for newly created VCS roots. I have just updated this feature request: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-15545 to list this use case as well.
