Can't restrict Teamcity deploy build configuration to specific branch?
It seems like Teamcity only half supports the idea of branches in version control. If I setup a Mercurial VCS only looking at a default branch for a deployment configuration, it still will happily checkout and deploy commits from completely different branches. It just seems like the Teamcity UI and descriptions of branches, default branch, branch filters etc.. are very much at odds with how it actually behaves. Is there no way to restrict build configurations to solo a specific branch, or is full support for branches anywhere on the roadmap at least for VCS that support it?
