Allow automatically marking specific failiures as successes


I currently have some projects working with servers. Right now it seems like the most convenient way to end the run is to kill the server by doing an execution timeout after N minutes. This works for us. But it does cause a lot of run jobs to be marked as failing. Is there any way to automatically mark these as successes?

Hi Chris,

Have you considered failing such builds with help of the timeout failure condition? It can be configured under Build Configuration -> Failure Conditions. This way you won't have to kill the server the build is working with, preventing other builds working with this particular server from failing. See the setting highlighted below:


Other than that you can manually set the status for a build via service messages. Let me know if that helps.
