IDEA TeamCity-Plugin does not allow SAML login via Hub

We are using JetBrains Hub with Keycloak SAML 2.0 AuthModule to authenticate users for TeamCity.

With this setup it is not possible to use the TeamCity plugin for IDEA since it does not delegate the authentication to the SAML provider (Keycloak).

The Upsource plugin however is working, because it delegates the authentication to the browser where users can login via Keycloak.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Hi Christian,

I'm afraid that OAuth authentication is not available right now in the IDEA plugin. Please watch and vote for this features:

At the moment, the only way to do this is to ensure that the users which will use the plugin have a TeamCity user.
