Data directory location for secondary node
Hi, we are thinking about setting up a secondary node in our TeamCity configuration. Before this option was available, I recall seeing the docs say that the TC data directory should be highly accessible, and therefore a local drive. It seems like the docs for setting up a secondary node suggest using a networked drive. Can someone tell me what the ideal configuration is for the data directory when using a secondary node?
Our data directory is currently local to our TC server, so it could be a headache trying to migrate everything to a networked drive. Thanks

Hi,
I'm afraid that you will need a networked drive. For a single node installation, having it locally will reduce all the possible issues of having networking problems while performing I/O over the network, so it's recommended. For multiple nodes installation this is not a possibility, as the folder needs to be shared.
