"Agent is scheduled to reboot" blocks builds to run

Good morning

I have several build agents which are idle but cannot run any builds because they are in the state "Agent is scheduled to reboot". How can I get rid of that? Physically rebooting the machines did not help, restarting the TeamCity service did not, either.

Somehow a restart of the TeamCity server machine solved the problem ...

Hi Michael,

I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue, though in case you run into it again, here's what I would recommend:
Assuming a Build Agent is installed on a different machine than TeamCity, make sure you restart the Build Agent machine (or Built Agent service) and not TeamCity server (or service).
If that doesn't help, share the agent logs with us (build_agent_install_path\buildAgent\logs) using the submit a request button on top of this page, and we will have a deeper look.
