Error with Publishing artifacts after upgrade to version 2017.2.4

Hi TeamCity

We are experience some errors regarding publishing artifacts after upgrading to your latest version 2017.2.4.

Before we upgrade these steps were executed:

Web killer Team :: BizTalk :: Services :: Eksterne Services :: EBoksLoen > #26.7.15.29915 (06 Mar 18 11:19) > Build Log — TeamCity

[11:20:11][Publishing artifacts] Collecting files to publish: [\\tc001tb.PLYS.DK\BuildDrop\Packages\EBoksLoen => EBoksLoen.zip]
[11:20:11][Publishing artifacts] Creating archive EBoksLoen.zip

[11:20:11][Publishing artifacts] Publishing 1 file using [ArtifactsCachePublisher]: //tc001tb.PLYS.DK/BuildDrop/Packages/EBoksLoen => EBoksLoen.zip
[11:20:11][Publishing artifacts] Publishing 1 file using [WebPublisher]: //tc001tb.PLYS.DK/BuildDrop/Packages/EBoksLoen => EBoksLoen.zip

But after upgrading we get this error:

Web killer Team :: BizTalk :: Services :: Eksterne Services :: EBoksLoen > #27.1.21.30786 (13 Jun 18 11:19) > Build Log — TeamCity

[11:20:18]Publishing artifacts
[11:20:18][Publishing artifacts] Collecting files to publish: [\\tc001tb\BuildDrop\Packages\EBoksLoen => EBoksLoen.zip]
[11:20:18][Publishing artifacts] Artifacts path '//tc001tb/BuildDrop/Packages/EBoksLoen' not found

Everything works fine if we define the full path but not when pointing to a folder as we always have done.

Can you tell why this behavior and how we can solve the problem?

Hi

We upgraded from version 2017.2.3.

We are running Teamcity on Windows Server 2012 R2.

We have defined the artifacts path like this:  \\tc001tb\BuildDrop\Packages\EBoksLoen => EBoksLoen.zip, and this an shared location.

We found that when pointing direkte to the location like d:\BuildDrop\Packages\EBoksLoen => EBoksLoen.zip it is working fine.

It seems that the problem only exsists when pointing to a shared folder.
