Is msbuild 18 supported?

I have last version of TeamCity, I have build agent with automatically detected parameters:

  • MSBuildTools18.0_x64_Path 
  • MSBuildTools18.0_x86_Path 
  • VS18 
  • VS18_Path

But in dotnet runner field “MSBuild version” don't have option “MSBuild Tool 2026” or “MSBuild Tool 18”. 

What I miss? Any workarounds?

Hi,

Visual Studio 2026 has just been released and is not yet supported by the .NET build runner. 
It's planned to be supported in the 2025.11.1 release of TeamCity. Please refer to the following issue in our issue tracker: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-97252/.NET-runner-support-for-MSBuild-Tools-2026
