Notification exclusively for "Build fails to start"
I want to receive notifications on “Build fails to start” only but it's not possible since I have to select Build fails option too.
I believe it's useful such notification for an administrator cause otherwise there is lot of noice of failed builds notifications.

Hi,
"Build fails to start" is a separate notification event, it doesn't require selecting "Build fails": https://www.jetbrains.com/help/teamcity/2024.07/adding-notification-rules.html#Which+Events+Will+Trigger+Notifications

If you try to add notifications from profile → notifications rules → add new rule, the view is different (2024.07.2)
and you can't select only the “Build fails to start” .
I created the issue regarding this: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-90158.
Please vote for it and subscribe to receive updates.
In the meantime, you can use Notifications build feature in the build configurations. It allows selecting Build fails to start event separately.
