[1529] NUnit support?

I've asked this for build 1492, but got no answer...lets try again! =)

Will there be support for NUnit (as I think there is for JUnit)?

Regards,
Pablo

Hello Pablo,

Thank you for quiestion. NUnit tests for .NET is supported.
All you need it to run NAnt build with NUnit target inside
a NAnt script.

Ummm...I should have been more specific, I'm using the sln2005 runner, and
that is not supported.

I'm currently running the tests using an MSBuild task that runs the
nunit-console executable. It fails nicely when a test fails, but I would
like to have more information, such as which test failed. Right now I need
to browse the entire build log to know which was the error (and I tell
you, it's a big log...;).

Regards,
Pablo

Hello Pablo,

Could you please submit this request to JIRA?
Do you use some custom task to run nunit-console or is
it just execute?

It's a custom task that filters the nunit-console output so I have better
VisualStudio support (pressing F8 to go to failing tests, failing tests
appearing in the Errors window, etc.).

It would be great if TeamCity did the build and run all the tests in the
solution, giving me a summary, stating how wonderful the tests ran or
pointing to the failing tests in a readable manner.

I've tried to enter the request in JIRA, but had a 'Java Heap Error' or
something like that...would you post a request!?

Regards,
Pablo

Great! Thanks,

Mental health is the adjustment of human beings to the world and to each

with a maximum of effectiveness and happiness. Not just efficiency, or
contentment - or the grace of obeying the rules of the game cheerfully. It
is
all of these together. It is the ability to maintain an even temper, an
alert
intelligence, socially considerate behavior and a happy disposition. This,
I
think, is a healthy mind.
