Problem connecting to VCS - invalid option -t

I keep getting this exception. Does anyone know how to resolve it?

What perforce version do you use? On perforce server and TeamCity server.

Is the p4 client version being used on TC server is the same (2000.2)? As a
workaround, could you update the p4 client?

As far as I can tell, the client is version 2006.1.xxx.
