TC performance via HTTPS

Would it be possible to

a) reduce the number of requests per page (e.g. page project overview)? this slows down page loading time largely
b) cache content of "changed files" popup on client so it does not need to be reloaded when accidentally moving the mouse?
c) make page reloading interval configurable in user settings?

Thanks for the feedback. We do consider reducing page reloads and will definetely cache
change popups.

Another thing I noticed is that downloading large files (~30+ mb) doesn't work
at all when using IE. The download window opens, but fails after some time with
a timeout error. When using FireFox, the downloads work just fine. Maybe that's
related to HTTPS as well?
