URLs Pointing into the Artifacts Directory

Is it possible to create a URL pointing within the artifacts directory. So that I can create a link to the latest release directly or some kind of report generated? Right now, I can point to the artifacts listing with:

/viewLog.html?buildId=lastSuccessful&buildTypeId=]]>&tab=artifacts

(note, that http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/TW/ExternalStatusEmbedding says &tab=buildArtefacts)

but I want to have a link to the something like release.zip in the directory or macker_report.html.

Is this currently possible?

Also, I'd like to make such links available on one of the main pages. Such as a tab for Clover, if that is what we are using. Or a tab for macker results. Any way currently to do this or should I file a Jira issue?

Hello,

Link to an artifact download looks like this:
http:///viewArtifacts.html/buildTypeId//buildId// In this link you can use special codes like "lastFinished" and "lastSuccessful" instead of build id. -- Pavel Sher "Tim McNerney" ]]> wrote in message

Thanks.

What about the ability to add these links as tabs on the build page? Should I file a Jira issue for that?

Hello,

You can write your own plugin which will add custom tab on build results
page. But probably it would be better to add such links on the build results
page itself instead of creating new tab. It is possible with our
WebExtension API. See javadoc for WebPlace#BUILD_INFO_FRAGMENT and
WebExtension class.

Also take a look at this page (it is a bit outdated but common principles
are still correct):
http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/TW/Plugin+Development

Sounds good. I'll check it out.

Thanks.

Starting from the next EAP, you'll have a possibility to view build artifacts right from the overview page without a single click. Stay tuned :)
